1. Do we need a reservation?

If you have a group of 15 or more, reservations are required.  Please complete the online group visit reservation form so we can best serve your group’s needs.

2. What does it cost?

Zip, zilch, nothing… admission is FREE!

3. What will we see?

There's so much to see at the Hallmark Visitors Center! Interactive displays and fascinating exhibits give you a glimpse into the rich history and creative spirit of Hallmark. And be sure to watch the film in our theatre created for Hallmark’s centennial.

4. How long should we plan?


It’s completely up to you! You may spend 10 minutes, one hour or four hours – any length of time is welcome. If you love history and are as fascinated by the Hallmark story as we think you will be, you’ll want to plan at least one hour.

5. What do you have for kids?


We have a bow machine that makes a star-shaped bow at the press of a button for each child to take home as a souvenir.

6. Will we have a chance to shop in a Hallmark store?

There is a mini-shop in the Hallmark Visitors Center lobby with a nice assortment of Hallmark products. The mini-shop is open from 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. In addition, there is a Hallmark Gold Crown® store located on the second level of the Crown Center shopping complex for all your Hallmark shopping needs.

7. Where are you located?

You will find us at the world headquarters of Hallmark Cards, Inc. on the southern edge of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, in the Crown Center complex. For your GPS, enter "2450 Grand Blvd." to take you directly to the parking garage. Once inside the garage, simply follow the signs. You can find more detailed directions and parking info here.

8. Are there restaurants nearby?

Yes, Crown Center has a food court and several sit-down restaurants available for dining. Most of the restaurants are located on the lower level of the shopping center. Feel free to ask a Hallmark Ambassador for additional recommendations for dining in the surrounding area.

9. What else is available to do in your area?

We're located in a vibrant and fun-filled section of Kansas City, so there's definitely lots to do while you're here.

The Art of the Poster: from Toulouse-Lautrec to Shepard Fairey

This exhibit chronicles 125 years of poster design, a modern art form made possible by the advancement of color lithography techniques in the nineteenth century.

This visually stunning exhibit is curated entirely from the Hallmark Art Collection, and includes a rare, early work by Shepard Fairey that serves as a culmination of the historic lineup. It promotes his signature Propaganda Printing Services and encourages the public to "THINK & CREATE" as well as to "PRINT & DESTROY."

9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

CLOSED Sunday.
CLOSED May 29-31 for Memorial Day and exhibit updates.
