Canadian Art Now on View at Hallmark Visitors Center

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Hallmark Canada, this exhibit presents the work of prominent Canadian artists in the Hallmark Art Collection. Many of these paintings and prints were collected over the years by William E. Coutts, who, in 1916, founded the greeting card company that would become Coutts Hallmark, and eventually Hallmark Canada. Coutts supported Canadian artists with scholarships, awards, and commissions for Christmas cards designs. This selection of works, now part of the Hallmark Art Collection, provides a vivid cross-section of Canadian landscape painting.
